Retailmatics is an independent retail technology consulting firm, founded by Lewis Olishansky in 2003. Led by Mr. Olishansky, it draws on the talents of other technologists with similar retail experience to provide a comprehensive consulting service.

At the outset, the firm found itself involved in supplier selection, project management, and process re-engineering. With the development of more sophisticated ways of data capture, such as RFID and NFC, retailers found themselves drowning in their newly acquired Big Data sets. They now were presented with a mixed blessing of having a wealth of priceless data on the one hand, and the risk that comes with using it in an internet world.

Retailmatics is now devoting most of its time and resources in the fields of Data Science and Data Security.
